Britt attended the YogaSport 26&2 200hr YTT in the summer of 2016, but has been practicing this yoga method for a decade. Her soul is set on fire by(and not limited to) the following list: Teaching yoga. Writing. Singingly loudly with children. Teaching kids how autism spectrum disorders and ADHD are a super power. Walking on the beach. Getting to talk into the microphone. Camp fires late at night. Oprah. Brene Brown's TED talks. Meditation. Playing in the woods. Sports, games, and competition. Creating energy. Throwing dodgeballs at children. Music. Jack Kerouac. Painting with no shoes on. 1 on 1 conversations. Saying no to shit I hate. Making others laugh. Swimming. Long discussions about the importance of yoga, sleep, self care, fostering independence in our children, arts in education, and Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Talking about postpartum depression. Learning about leadership and human behavior. Being walking permission for people to say out loud what they really want to say. Reading. Snuggling people I love. Harmless pranks. Amethyst. A good sweat.
Varina Bednarz
Varina’s first true love and commitment to yoga came when discovering the original 26+2 practice years ago. Learning how to use breath and movement to connect
with her body brought peace, mental clarity, and the physical health she had been searching for. She enrolled in a Yin Yoga training program with Josh Summers during January 2018 as part of deeper commitment to holistic wellness and body work. She completed this 200 hour Yin Yoga Teacher Certification during the Summer of 2019 and has enjoyed sharing this beautiful complementary and meditative practice with others. Varina is also a RN, Reiki Master, and training to be an End of Life Doula. She works full time in a busy Boston recovery room and offers reiki services to hospice patients and private clients through her business Inviting Peace. She is passionate about helping others reconnect with their inner wisdom and the place of peace that resides in us all. Varina lives in Marshfield with her beloved husband and bulldog. In addition to all things wellness, she is nourished by time in nature, intentional convos, stand up paddle-boarding, reading, travel, solitude, and music.

Janet Thumith
Janet came to hot yoga looking for a new workout challenge. She has been practicing 26&2, 5-7days per week, for 8 years now. She finds that the practice resets her body and mind. She craves the heat in the hot room and finds that each day her practice feels new, bringing her to new levels. The 26&2 helps combat stress in her life and brings her back to a sense of calm. There is always room for growth in her body and mind and that keeps her coming back. Janet is from Littleton, MA. She moved to the Cape two years ago. Prior to becoming a mom, Janet worked as a Registered Nurse with a specialty in infection control. Janet is married (for 33 years)and has devoted the last 22 years to raising their son. Janet took her first Inferno Hot Pilates class approximately 3 years ago. The class was definitely challenging! As Inferno Hot Pilates has made its way to the Cape she realized the benefits of the class. She loves the heat, the energy, the intensity, the fun, and the way it makes her body feel. Oh, and, of course, for those of you who know her, the Whoot Whoot!! Janet decided to take the IHP teacher training and is so glad she did!! It really has put a “skip in her step”! She’s happy to keep learning and encouraging others to do their very best!
Taylor Piper
Taylor came to Hot Yoga 1620 in the summer of 2019 on the advice of a friend has been hooked ever since. She completed her teacher training for hot yoga in July 2021 under the tutelage of Daniel Vineis and Grace Spencer. Taylor has been on the path of self improvement and self discovery for the last 15 years and finds hot yoga -both the practice and the teaching- to be incredibly rewarding and life changing. She has been with the love of her life for almost 40 years. Together they have three children, a small business, and a menagerie of domestic critters. She has lived in Plymouth for thirty years and has no plans to go anywhere else, as this is a wonderful place to be. Most recently Taylor has discovered through Hot Yoga 1620, Kundalini yoga, breath work, and meditation. Adding these modalities into her weekly practice rotation has been a life changing addition to her journey of self awareness and improvement. Taylor looks forward to continuing her own odyssey of yoga through practice, teaching others, and learning more every day.
Tracy Dupuis
Tracy is extremely passionate about family, fitness and trying new things! Especially when those new things pose a physical challenge. In 2018 after her third pregnancy Tracy began experiencing lower back pain. This pain was exacerbated by her normal high impact exercise routine involving running and weight lifting. Knowing a change was necessary she joined Hot Yoga 1620 in October of 2019. She immediately fell in love with the low impact high intensity exercise witch Inferno Hot Pilates offers! I gave her an outlet she required both physically and mentally. Attending classes as often as possible she was absorbed by this family community. Loving the results she was seeing Tracy decided she wanted to commit more to this practice and become an instructor, completing IHP training In 2021. She is excited to share with you her knowledge and motivation together you feeling your best!
Dan Larsen
Dan Larsen leads a weekly breath work and meditation circle on Wednesdays that changes each week and is suitable for all, including those who have never meditated before to one attendee who has meditated every day for 60 years. The primary goal of the practice is to raise our energy/vibration levels dissolving old traumas, emotions and limiting beliefs in the process to become our fullest expression and manifest our desires. Dan is extremely passionate about spreading meditation in his free time. Dan lives in nearby Redbrook with his wife Megan and two young children, Carter and Morgan. He runs an investment practice in Boston during the week and has been practicing the amazing 26&2 hot yoga for 17 years all over the country.
